Palazzo Altemps
Few tourists visit this beautiful museum located behind Piazza Navona. The building dates back to the 1400s, when it already housed a rich collection of ancient sculptures. The museum still features masterpieces that come from famous aristocratic collections now owned by the state, and displays them in rooms that still retain many aspects of their original appearance. Each sculpture has its own story, which only an expert in the field can illustrate in the best possible way.
