Ostia Antica
Ostia is an extraordinary archaeological site that relatively few people visit, despite having lived a much longer history than Pompeii.
At this site you will admire Roman buildings still preserved up to two or even three storeys in height! The history of the city has its origins in the archaic age and extends to the early Middle Ages. The 80 hectares that comprise this archaeological park also represent an extraordinary natural space near the Roman coast.
You will be accompanied by an archaeologist who has conducted extensive research at Ostia. This will allow you to see the site through the eyes of an archaeologist, and you will discover areas where some of the largest international universities still excavate today.
The tour is customizable according to your interests, resulting in an absolutely unique experience.
You will explore spas, houses, temples, ancient shops and much more, and will discover the secrets hidden in the walls, streets, and out-of-the-way corners of this fantastic Roman colony.
